A rare vintage Greek olive jar of exceptional scale and character, entirely handmade and beautifully aged with an authentic, timeworn patina that makes it truly one of a kind. Standing approximately 48” tall × 20” wide at the belly with a 10” mouth, this remarkable piece rests on a custom iron stand that showcases its sculptural form. Sourced from Greece, its weathered surface, natural imperfections, and traces of aged finish tell the story of its past—details that simply cannot be reproduced in newly made pottery. An extraordinary statement piece and an increasingly difficult find in this size and condition.
